Shayna is currently a PhD student in clinical psychology at Loma Linda University's School of Behavioral Health. Her research interests address the development and dissemination of practical, evidence-based interventions in traditional, community, and online settings to increase access to care, promote engagement, and best serve adolescents and emerging adults. Translating programmatic efforts into community-based environments as well as digital modalities particularly seeks to provide support and improve the well-being of those exposed to significant stress associated with struggling with anxiety, depression, as well as the clinical consequences related to intersectional minority identities.
